I enrolled with 30 Minute Hit in February 2011. Since then I have found the circuit to be one of the most invigorating, challenging, intense, feel good workouts I’ve ever done!! The trainers working at the Calgary location are very motivating and you just get a very good vibe from everyone the moment you walk in. To think you can get such a great workout in only 30 minutes is unbelievable. My favourite part of the circuit is my pink boxing gloves, and the wicked new punches and kicks I’m learning. I try my best to keep up to the four day a week schedule and so far I have noticed an abundance amount of change in my body since starting. I’m loosing weight/inches, gaining confidence, working out with a great group of motivating girls and absolutely loving it!! I found that I really do feel better after my work outs regardless of how tired I was when I arrived.
I started the Hit back in January as a way to support my friend but in the end it has been really great for me. In those dark winter months it got me out of the house and my comfort zone! It is quick and easy as well as having great staff. I tell myself anyone can do 2 minutes of something and there is nothing too complicated as far as moves go, so I’m concentrating on just getting better. Best of all I’ve now lost 12 lbs! I found that I really do feel better after my work outs regardless of how tired I was when I arrived. I’m looking forward to the Hit being open on Thursdays and expect to start going a full 4 to 5 times a week. Hope to see you all here.

The results I've gotten from 30 Minute Hit have been better than any other fitness program I've tried. Unlike a regular gym, where I've found myself wandering around and half-heartedly using the equipment, Christine and TK keep me motivated by varying my workout, always making it harder, and giving me tips and tricks to get the most out of my training. I always leave feeling like my butt got kicked - but in a good way. Since I started 30 Minute Hit in March, I've noticed I can run farther than ever without getting tired (I'm running over 5km now regularly!), and I've noticed a huge difference in how toned my muscles appear - you can see my triceps! Best of all, I feel great and have more energy. 30 Minute Hit has definitely been the best thing I've ever joined!

Reason why I love 30Minute Hit ...
I was a very competitive athlete in high school. Loved competition. After high school, all my athletics stopped and as the years went on I realized the pounds had been steadily creeping up on me and they weren’t going to disappear on their own. I needed to hit the gym, in order to feel good about myself again. No gym was right for me though, I was not motivated enough and had no one to push me, the way I needed to be pushed, also where would I find the time in between school and work.
Then I heard about 30Minute Hit, It is everything it describes itself to be and more, empowering, challenging, and motivating. I love that the owner Kate, makes it challenging every time I come in, and encourages me to push that much harder, because the sweat, aches and pains are all worth it in the end. 30Minute Hit has not only made be feel good about myself again but I am stronger physically and mentally as well. 30Minute Hit is the place to be and I love it!

It’s a place where people actually care more about fitness and technique, and less about how you’re dressed or if your hair looks pretty. The atmosphere is very inviting and friendly. I’m grateful to Terri, Trevor, Audrey and Amy who helped me get back the person I forgot I was. I’m stronger physically & mentally, and as I become healthier I’m getting less migraines and my stress is hugely reduced.
For the last year & a half(ish), Edmonton Hit has made a huge difference in my life. For a long time I had tons of excuses as to why I couldn’t work out, including (but not limited to): not enough time, workouts being boring, gym memberships being too expensive, too far to drive, blah, blah, blah. Then Terri opened the Hit. My brother, Keith, dragged me there knowing full well how much I’d love it. After checking it out, I had no excuses left; the workout is only 30 minutes (for serious), it’s definitely not boring (I love hitting stuff and learning good technique), the membership cost is totally reasonable, and it’s easy to get to. My excuses were eliminated. Add to that the incredible people and it’s the best gym! The staff is awesome, always helpful & knows how to challenge you to get the most out of your workout. Also, the community I’ve found at the gym is inspiring and I’m beyond proud to be a member. After a year & a half(ish)…39lbs gone and counting, I’m stronger physically & mentally, and as I become healthier I’m getting less migraines and my stress is hugely reduced. I have become leaner, stronger, and have lost 3 inches. Most rewarding however is the feeling of a healthier mind, body, and soul.
Thanks to 30 Minute Hit, I have achieved my fitness goal this year and I am still going strong! When making my resolution, I wanted to find something athletic and fun, and something that I could stick with. I recalled enjoying all types of martial arts when I was young and kickboxing was no exception. So instead of trying to implement mainstream gym exercises, as it has never worked very well for me, I thought I would look in to the various kickboxing gyms around the city and 30 Minute Hit seemed to fit my criteria the most. With a very busy schedule, I wanted a workout that gave the most impact in a relatively short time, and most importantly, one that had flexible hours, 30 Minute Hit was that gym. What I love about the program is that it is circuit style training. I am able to track my progress at each station, challenging myself to work towards the station’s next level, and I can do it all within 30 minutes. Since joining, the results were better than I had hoped: I have become leaner, stronger, and have lost 3 inches. Most rewarding however is the feeling of a healthier mind, body, and soul. I have also met some incredible fellow kickboxers at the gym who continue to inspire me, thanks for sharing your laughs and cries and making the gym fun. Six months in to the program, no longer do I want to just fit in my little black dress, I now want to rock in my little black dress and thanks to Terri and her team, I believe I can. After hearing about 30 Minute Hit from a friend I decided to check it out and see if there was a location in Maple Ridge, much to my luck it was just down the street from my house and I could not wait to go and give it a try. Within a week of joining I was loving it and was completely hooked! I started Abbotsford Hit in May because I wanted to do something that was different from the boring old routine at the gym. I felt like I needed something that was fun, exciting and something that pushed my limits! Well, Abbotsford Hit is definitely all that and more! At first I was a bit doubtful because I thought to myself, “how can just 30 minutes a day replace my 1 hour and a half workout at the gym?” My doubts were proven wrong because 30 minutes of Abbotsford Hit replaced cardio and strength training-I have the muscles to prove it! It has only been a short while and I have seen so many changes in my body, it definitely helps for toning up and one MAJOR plus is that it works that stubborn belly fat that is so hard to get rid of!
The best part is that it’s only 30 minutes of your day, so it fits perfectly into your schedule (so I can’t make any excuses). This routine works for me because I give it my all during each 2 minute station, as I can tell myself, “ok…you can do it 45 more seconds…30 more seconds,” and especially when I have Kate giving her great support, while she yells at me to not give up!
I love coming in each and every day! I think I am definitely addicted because Abbotsford Hit not only provides me with a great workout, it also gives me stress release, which makes me a more happier and productive person! The other day I found myself leaving work 1 hour early (with no pay) just because I could not stand the fact of missing a workout for even one day!

For all of you skeptics or for those who haven\'t gone in a while go back check it out again! You won\'t regret it!
I started at Abbotsford Hit 2 months ago. I had done the curves thing, the gym thing and always felt like why was I going for 2 hours a day and not feeling like anything was happening. So needless to say I was a skeptic. I went with a friend and I have to say after that first day I was hooked but again how long would I go before I got bored? Well I can honestly say I haven\'t gotten bored and I may have missed a couple of days but every time I come back I learn something new and I look forward to coming in and taking out my frustrations on Bob or celebrating an accomplishment such as fitting into something smaller! I do have a goal to fit into a bridesmaid dress by the end of August but I know that I will continue coming after that. Thank you Kate for your encouragement and for kicking my butt every time I come in! For all of you skeptics check it out! You won't regret it!

I joined the 30 Minute Hit in May and since then my body had toned up and gone down two pants size without changing my diet
Driving home one day, I noticed a poster of a female with pink boxing gloves. Beside it was the name "30 Minute Hit". As soon as I got home, I googled it and found out that it was a kickboxing circuit for females and it was only 30 minutes long. This was very intriguing to me as mother of two young kids because it was very hard to find time to go back to the gym. I decided to try out their free trial and was amazed at the awesome workout I got in just literally 30 minutes. When I got home, my exact words to my husband were "I was about to drop dead at the end of the circuit."
I joined the 30 Minute Hit in May and since then my body had toned up and gone down two pants size without changing my diet. Before I had never gotten this kind of results this fast by going to a regular gym three times a week. Now I can have a great workout and be home all within an hour.
What I feel really makes a difference is having a trainer on site to encourage and push me that extra mile. Teri and Lisa are wonderful trainers. They constantly challenge you by adding a little something new to your circuit. Without them there to cheer me on I would slack off like I had in the past at regular gyms.
For all those moms and ladies of any age whom are looking for a great workout without spending a whole lot of time in the gym, this is it. Just go try out their free trial and you\'ll be hooked like I was. I really really truly believe in this circuit because of the fast results I got from the little amount of time I spent working out.

What makes me keep coming back (to get my butt kicked) is
that the guys are so much fun, so enthusiastic, so supportive and have so
much positive energy. I love my workouts and am (some would say down-right
