A: Absolutely not. The systemized and structured format of the 30 Minute Hit circuit, combined with our comprehensive training program allows new franchisees with no previous experience to start teaching proper technique in no time. Q: Do I need to be in shape?
A: Like any gym, members look to the owner and trainers for inspiration. And with the 30 Minute Hit, being fit is part of the great lifestyle. While we don’t expect everyone to look like a finely tuned professional athlete, we do require an acceptable fitness level for all franchisees.
Q: How much can I make?
A: The answer depends on many variables. Demographics of a specific area, geographic region and physical location all play a part in the potential success of any given franchise. However, the single most important factor in the performance of a 30 Minute Hit location is the owner. Great owners, own great businesses …good owners, own good businesses. So how much can you make? Well it really depends on you. What we can say, is that all of our franchises that have opened since day one, are still with us and can’t say enough great things about what they get out of the business. And those same franchisees now purchasing multiple locations, would prove they are great owners.
Q: Do we offer financing?
A: While we do not offer direct financing to franchisees, many of our existing locations have successfully worked with various financial institutions based on our proven business model.
Q: How much are royalty fees?
A: Unlike most franchisors, we do NOT charge a percentage of gross revenues. We believe strongly, that a franchisees hard-earned money should stay in their pocket, and only charge royalties on a flat fee basis. Royalty fees are $300/month for the first year, $400/month for the second year and a cap of $500 for remaining years.
Q: Where is the best place to open?
A: While there is no “best” place to open, we will consult with you determine “your” best location. As both lower visibility destinations and higher traffic locations work well, there are many options for a successful location.
Q: When is the best time to open?
A: Now! There is no bad time of the year to open a 30 Minute Hit kickboxing fitness franchise, and waiting too long may mean you lose your first choice of a specific area.
Q: How do I secure an area?
A: The process is simple. Once you are approved to purchase a franchise, a $5000 deposit will hold your territory while you find your space.
Q: How much space do I need?
A: You will require between 1400 and 2000 square feet of space depending on the layout. We work with all franchisees to ensure spaces are appropriate and that they offer good value.
Q: Who finds the space?
A: Franchisees are responsible for finding their own space, while we aid in lease negotiations and provide support in how to find your space.
Q: How long does it take to open?
A: From the time a lease and final franchise agreement are signed, it can take as little as 6 weeks to open.
Q: What about the equipment for the circuit?
A: All equipment for the circuit is included in the franchisee fee, and comes with a one year limited warranty. Any equipment that needs to be replaced from time to time due to wear and tear, is inexpensive and can ordered online through our franchisee webstore.
Q: What about hiring staff?
A: As a 30 Minute Hit kickboxing fitness franchise owner, you will need to hire staff. How much staff is up to you. However, while we do have an owner/operator requirement, the amount of staff you hire is your decision. One or two part time staff is most common, and often, existing members make great employees.
