If you’re a resident of Oakland, you know that because of the gorgeous local weather, there are plenty of ways to stay active all year long. For example, you can take a dip at DeFremery Swimming Pool, play tennis at Oakland Davie Tennis Stadium, tee off at a local golf course, or go boating at Jack London Aquatic Center. There’s no shortage of recreational activities in Oakland to keep you exercising through the seasons. But you might find that it’s hard to block off the weekend, afternoon, or full hour you need to work up a sweat in the pool or play a game of tennis. That’s exactly why we created 30 Minute Hit! Our workouts are designed for busy women just like you—that’s why they’re only 30 minutes long. And because they don’t have fixed start times, you can show up at a time that works for your schedule. How do we help women achieve stellar health and fitness results with a workout that lasts just half an hour? We’ve designed our circuits to be as efficient as possible. Specifically, 30 Minute Hit workouts combine the most effective exercises from kickboxing, boxing, self-defense, and core stability training. They also feature moves using punching bags, medicine balls, and Swiss balls to encourage you to work your body from head to toe. And to ensure that you get the most out of every exercise, we make sure that there’s always an experienced trainer on the floor with you to demonstrate proper technique and cheer you on. At 30 Minute Hit, we want you to get the incredible fitness results you’ve wanted for so long. But we also want to make sure that you stay safe and healthy. That’s why we’ve implemented a number of measures to keep you safe at our location during COVID-19. For example, we’ve enabled remote check-ins for workouts, added member and staff health checks upon entry, reduced capacity to ensure ample physical distancing, and introduced enhanced cleaning procedures during and between blocks of operating hours. We’re also asking members to keep their boxing gloves on throughout the circuit to reduce direct contact with equipment. Stephanie Bolton is the owner of 30 Minute Hit Oakland.
