I found that I really do feel better after my work outs regardless of how tired I was when I arrived.
I started the Hit back in January as a way to support my friend but in the end it has been really great for me. In those dark winter months it got me out of the house and my comfort zone! It is quick and easy as well as having great staff. I tell myself anyone can do 2 minutes of something and there is nothing too complicated as far as moves go, so I’m concentrating on just getting better. Best of all I’ve now lost 12 lbs! I found that I really do feel better after my work outs regardless of how tired I was when I arrived. I’m looking forward to the Hit being open on Thursdays and expect to start going a full 4 to 5 times a week. Hope to see you all here.

Since then I have found the circuit to be one of the most invigorating, challenging, intense, feel good workouts I’ve ever done!!
I enrolled with 30 Minute Hit in February 2011. Since then I have found the circuit to be one of the most invigorating, challenging, intense, feel good workouts I’ve ever done!! The trainers working at the Calgary location are very motivating and you just get a very good vibe from everyone the moment you walk in. To think you can get such a great workout in only 30 minutes is unbelievable. My favourite part of the circuit is my pink boxing gloves, and the wicked new punches and kicks I’m learning. I try my best to keep up to the four day a week schedule and so far I have noticed an abundance amount of change in my body since starting. I’m loosing weight/inches, gaining confidence, working out with a great group of motivating girls and absolutely loving it!! What can I say about 30 min hit, it's the best workout ever! I love how you can sweat it out in the first 10 minutes and when you feel like you can't do anymore, Teri yells at you, I mean motivates you to keep going and challenge yourself. . The trainers are the best. Teri, Lisa and Brian each have their own styles in encouraging you! The stations never getting boring since the trainers always take it to the next level by teaching you something new. I always try to challenge myself every time I go in. Be it, trying the next level on a station to holding a plank for more than 2 minutes. You not only get a great workout but you develop self defense skills as well as self confidence and you always leave with a better attitude and a smile on your face for what you have just accomplished.

I have been coming to 30 minute hit since January when it opened. Christine and 30 Minute Hit have changed my life. I finally found a workout that is fun, challenging and giving me amazing results!! In 10 weeks I have lost about 12 lbs and 2 dress sizes! I feel so confident now. Not only do I look great but I feel great as well. When I first started I struggled at several of the stations and I barely made it through the circuit. Every time I come in I can see myself improving and getting stronger. I enjoy the challenge that each station brings. I love how therapeutic punching B.O.B. can be!! I look forward to my workouts each week and I have met some amazing ladies!! When I walk out the door some 30 or 40 minutes later, I always feel awesome, feel a personal satisfaction, a feeling of accomplishment.
Almost 4 months ago I was looking online for a local gym or boot camp or kick boxing type of facility that would suit my financial and scheduling needs, and happened upon the Port Coquitlam 30 Minute Hit website . I looked through the site and have to admit that although it looked impressive, my age and fitness level(not great) made me skeptical that it would be suitable for me. I took a chance and called for my free trial and went in that very same day. I was instantly impressed with the no-nonsense,(albeit friendly), get down to business type approach of the owner, Laura, as she explained the circuit and showed me how to navigate myself around each station.The work out is fast and intense, and although everyone is doing the same things, they are advanced at their own pace and physical capabilities.The members come in all shapes, ages and sizes,and I have never been to such a non-judgemental facility in my life. I haven’t looked back since, and no matter how cruddy a day I might have had,or how I may feel tired or sore as I walk in the door, when I walk out the door some 30 or 40 minutes later, I *always* feel awesome, feel a personal satisfaction, a feeling of accomplishment.The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable, and push you to push yourself, all while encouraging and supporting your efforts. Even when the place is full , the person on floor,whether its Laura or Amy or more recently , Mike, make sure that each member gets the appropriate attention and support required, whether it’s a safer method to hold your hands or position your body, or it’s a “Come on, push, you can do it”. Its been approximately 16 weeks now,and with regular visits the results are speaking for themselves. Aside from some weight loss,and feeling stronger, chronic pain from a tailbone injury is practically non-existent now as my core gets stronger week by week, all due to the 30 Minute Hit. Walking through the door that day in June was the best decision I could have made!

I've been going to 30 Min Hit for about a year now and I love that I still find the workout challenging and I never get bored. I used to dread going to the gym and would find almost any excuse to not go, but now since the workouts are only 30 minutes it's much harder to make up an excuse to not go and I find I really like the workouts and surprisingly I even miss it when I don't go. One of the biggest reasons I love going is the trainers. I've never worked out anywhere that had such encourging and motivating people. They're always pushing me ( in a good way) and getting me to try new moves. They are a big reason why I keep coming back. So thank you very much to those amazing ladies for all of your encouragement and making me feel like I can always do more.

The women at 30 minute hit are there to help you get what you want out of your time at the gym, they know how to push you with out pushing you to the point of frustration.
I have been a member of 30 minute hit since December of 2010. Since joining the 30 minute hit in Port Coquitlam, I have been able to reach and maintain my year and a half long goal of loosing 50 pounds. I have also been able to drop three dress sizes since joining. I fully believe all my success should be attributed to the women at 30 minute hit with out them I would be stuck, at the same weight, the same size, and the same fitness level. But now I’m constantly trying to push further, and harder to reach the next goal. I choose 30 minute hit because of the staff. The women at 30 minute hit are there to help you get what you want out of your time at the gym, they know how to push you with out pushing you to the point of frustration. They are always there to answer questions, and help with your technique. The best part of 30 minute hit, is you feel like your working out with friends, when you walk in the door they welcome you by name. They really make you feel as if your not just another person using their facility but rather their one and only client, and they want you to succeed.

First off I have to say that I love the trainers here at Poco 30 minute Hit!! They are always so motivating and pushing me beyondwhat I think I'm capable of. Before I found 30 minute Hit I would cringe at the thought of working out and now (I can't believe I'm saying it) but I actually look forward to it. I love that it only takes 30 minutes of your day to get in a good workout where I am dripping in sweat and out of breath the entire time. From my very first work out I knew 30 Minute Hit was the gym for me. Even though I am not the most coordinated person, Laura and Amy have always taken the time to guide me. I not only feel better about myself but I am becoming stronger all the time. I love the boxing workout and with the ladies encouraging me and changing things up along the way I know this is where I want to be! Joining this gym is the best thing I have done for myself in a very long time. So thank you Ladies for always keeping me motivated and mostly for making me feel so welcome from day one!

I’m very proud and excited to be member of the month. Not just because I get to rock a (free) 30 Minute Hit sweater or have my picture framed on the wall but because I’ve accomplished so much in just one year! I’ve always wanted to join a kickboxing class but was hesitant to spar with others or workout with the opposite sex. When I started at 30 Minute Hit I knew it was the gym for me. The environment was friendly and non-intimidating. It has been exactly one year since I’ve started at the Hit and I lost 16 pounds. I have not seen incredible results like this working out at other gyms or bootcamps. However, it truly was a journey! Not only do I exercise 3-4 times a week but I’ve made a change in my diet as well. I learned that no matter how much and how hard I exercise, I will not shed pounds unless I change my diet. I’m really happy to be a member of 30 Minute Hit. Working out at this gym has made me mentally and physically stronger and has increased my self-esteem. I’d like to express a very big thank you to Laura and Stacey for motivating me to push myself harder and reach that last 15 seconds. I’d also like to thank you both for showing me different exercises and correcting my form in order to obtain optimal results. A message to all the ladies working hard to pursue their goals, DO NOT GIVE UP!! You are almost there! Your pounds WILL shed with time. Yet, when you are at the gym, truly give it your 110%. Try not to think about what happened at work or all the things you have to do when you get home. This is YOUR 30 minutes that you owe to yourself! Also, really utilize the trainers to assist you in correcting your form or showing you new exercises. They are very knowledgeable and look AMAZING so they must know what they are doing!!
